Cookies and browser storage

This page explains browser storage used by Guard Sheets. Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage are different browser mechanisms; server logs and the private contact inbox are not cookies.
Storage in the current library
Checks of the home page, About, Contact, library and a category page in a browser not signed into WordPress found no visitor cookies, no local-storage entries and one WordPress session-storage entry. The current active website configuration does not include advertising or third-party visitor analytics.

Administration is separate
Visiting the WordPress sign-in page or signing into administration can use cookies such as wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* to check cookie support and maintain a login. These are not required to browse or download from the library. Sign-out ends the authenticated session; browser settings can remove stored cookies.
Contact checks and download counts
The contact form’s security token is included in the form. Temporary validation information and rate-limit entries are stored on the server, not in advertising cookies. A workbook download can increment that workbook’s total without assigning a visitor tracking cookie. See Privacy at Guard Sheets for server-side handling.
Your browser controls
You can inspect or clear cookies and site data through your browser’s privacy settings for guardsheets.com. Clearing authentication cookies signs you out of administration. Blocking storage may cause WordPress to repeat its emoji-support check. There is no advertising-consent panel in the current library because an advertising or other optional tracking service is not configured here; continuing to browse is not treated as consent to install one.
Changes and questions
If measurement, advertising or embedded services are introduced, this inventory and any required choices must be reviewed before those services run. For a question about a request or storage entry, use Contact Guard Sheets and include the page URL and browser, without sending credentials or private identifiers.
